The FHA has historically denied any homebuyer the right to purchase a fix and flip home for 90 days from the date of the investor’s purchase. This is know as a “seasoning” rule. I was inacted to protect the consumer from purchasing homes that were quickly rehabed and not repaired or “fixed” with high standards.
